Principal’s Message

At Kaleen Primary School we are committed to working with parents as partners in learning to ensure that all students succeed and realise their potential. With families from around the world, our school is proudly multicultural. We provide an empathetic, caring and inclusive school environment where relationships matter.

At Kaleen Primary School we encourage safe, responsible and respectful learning and all students are challenged to take risks and strive for excellence. Our children’s wellbeing and safety are of the utmost importance to our staff and school community.

Kaleen Primary School has a strong learning culture and offers a range of experiences to develop students’ 21st century skills and positive dispositions. Our aim is to develop students as active, engaged and independent learners. We nurture creativity, curiosity, collaboration and innovation and have high expectations for all – students and staff.

Our teachers are a talented team of professionals who utilise evidenced-based strategies to achieve student growth. We cater for individual needs and personalise learning to engage all students. In addition to a targeted focus on literacy, numeracy and science, we provide our students with access to specialist programs and opportunities to expand their learning inside and outside the classroom. Kaleen Primary is a school where staff and students take pride in each other's achievements.

As a professional learning community we are committed to ensuring that all students enjoy coming to a school where they learn, share, celebrate and have fun. I am honoured to be the principal of Kaleen Primary School.

Kaleen Primary School Home Learning Hub

Homework hub

Learning doesn't just happen in the classroom.

The Kaleen Primary School Home Learning Hub is a resource for families to support their child in continuing their educational journey outside the classroom.

This includes:

  • Video resources aimed at supporting parents in developing their students literacy and numeracy at home
  • Access to digital resources to reinforce curriculum areas covered at school
  • Scheduling advice and resources to support families and students who are unable to attend school for an extended period.
