Kaleen Primary school's uniform is an emerald polo shirt with school logo and an emerald sweatshirt
with school logo. Children have the choice of navy track pants, navy shorts, navy skirt or the school dress.
Sport shoes or black shoes may be worn. Students wear broad-brimmed or bucket hats with school logo for
all outdoor activities.
Outer Jackets/coats can be any colour however t-shirts, jumpers are to be emerald or year 6 indigenous print
and pants/shorts are navy blue.
The ACT Government provides a one-off payment of $750 to eligible low-income families with high school and
college students as part of the Future of Education Equity Fund, according to education authorities.
This fund helps families with the cost of school uniforms, excursions, and other educational expenses.
The fund also provides $400 for preschool students and $500 for primary school students.
Uniforms can be purchased in store at LOWES located in the Belconnen mall or online via the Lowes website. Second hand uniforms can be purchased via the KPS second hand uniform shop open every Wednesday 8:30-9:00am and 3:00-3:30pm and items are a cold coin donation.

KPS Sport Shorts
We are excited to share a new addition to our school uniform, developed through student voice and collaboration with Mrs. Graham. Together, they identified a way to combine pride in our uniform with the practical needs of play. The result is the new KPS Sport Shorts, lightweight, unisex, and perfect for the warmer months. Not only are they great for playing one of the most popular games at break time, but they can also be worn for other sports, such as soccer, and an alternative to the navy blue shorts.
As this is a special/custom item, the shorts are not available through Lowes (our regular uniform distributor). Instead, the school will support families by coordinating orders directly, with costs invoiced to families. We will open orders twice a year, with the first delivery expected in early Term 4 (approximately Week 2–3).
